Japanese game publisher Atlus announced today that ACE Team developed action-strategy game Rock of Ages will be released September 7 in North America for the Microsoft Windows platform via Stream. However, PlayStation 3 gamers will unfortunately have to wait until later this summer. Unlike Ace Team’s first and previous game, Zeno Clash, Rock of Ages is powered by Unreal Engine 3.
The game combines tower defense strategy with a rolling ball mechanic similar to games such as Marble Madness and Super Monkey Ball. The aim of the game is to use a large stone boulder to attack the enemy’s castle at the bottom of the hill, whilst using various defensive structures to defend your own. Players can use a variety of obstacles to defend the path leading up to the castle, such as buildings, dynamite, windmills and animals. Read More

Electronic Arts announced today that Criterion Games-developed car-combat game Burnout Crash! will debut on September 20 in North America for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms at a $10 price point as a digital download.
Game publisher Electronic Arts announced today that Criterion Games-developed car-combat game Burnout Crash! will debut on September 20 in North America for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms at a $10 price point as a digital download. The game features three game modes and 16 different intersections to play. The Xbox 360 version of the game also includes a Kinect mode, allowing players to use gestures to control the game.
In Burnout Crash!, players drive into an intersection and attempt to cause as big a pile-up as possible. Points are earned for causing damage and destroying the environment and other vehicles. Leader boards enable players to compare scores with other players. Read More
