Splash Damage Recruiting
After Brink’s release in May, the developer behind it, Splash Damage is now recruiting for up to 14 positions for an unspecified project.
May really isn’t the best time for shooter games, THQ just closed the studio Kaos, which is behind its mixed reviewed shooter Homefront. Now another sci-fi shooter Brink released in May is also getting mixed reviews. The developer, Splash Damage has also delivered games like Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, Doom III, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, and Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory over the years.
The difference is this time the developer doesn’t seem to be effected very much by the bad reviews, and it is now even staffing up for a new project.
Posted on its website, the London-based developer is looking for positions such as Lead VFX artist, Lead Online Services programmer, producer, and others adds up to 14 vacancies.
Even though, there’s no official announcement or any clue on what project is the recruiting for. So currently is remains unknown whether the studio is going to deliver a sequel to Brink or something entirely new.
